Afraid...

I've come to realize that I'm afraid to use "dark tones" and dark colors in my work. I don't know what it is but the thought of laying down heavy dark colors really bothers me like crazy. :/ even in my traditional art looking at heavy shades of black bother me. I would like to overcome that fear as I think it would help bring my art to life more as in the case of http://sanparuzu.deviantart.com/art/Alejandra-97827964 to some extent. I think thats the ONLY piece that I've actually tried a more darker scheme on. And even then I still played it kinda safe on the colors. :p
